The Hepatitis C antibody test is used to determine if you have been infected with the hepatitis C virus. Hepatitis C is spread through blood and other bodily fluids. Hepatitis C is highly contagious, causing the highest rate of deaths of any infectious disease. Test results may take 1-2 business days.
Hepatitis C is an extremely contagious viral infection that causes potentially dangerous inflammation of the liver. This test is used to identify exposure to hepatitis C but does not determine if the infection is active or past. There is currently no vaccine for hepatitis C.
