Included with your STD test (based on the discretion of our physician) treatment will be prescribed and sent to your local pharmacy.

When you arrive at the lab there is no additional paperwork and our STD testing takes only a few minutes for sample collection. Nonetheless we recommend making an appointment to avoid waiting and keep in mind that labs are busier in the morning due to the fasting requirements of many tests.

After purchasing a test online, you will receive an email with everything you need to show at the lab. You can get tested during business hours on weekdays, and some labs are open on Saturday. In general, you can have your results within two days.

Health Testing Centers makes lab testing easy. Initially, you select the testing you want performed and the lab location you want to visit.

Once your order is complete, your lab requisition including appropriate test codes will be sent to you via secure email or available in your online account. You can take your STD test as soon as you have received this form. Bring the form to the laboratory location you have chosen. The test codes tell the lab technician how to collect the sample, which typically takes only minutes.

You will receive an email when your results are ready, typically in 2-3 days. You can access the test results logging into our portal with your secure account.

No. The laboratories that we partner with also test for various other issues such as allergies, cholesterol, and so on. The people you see there won't know which test you are getting.

In general, no preparation is required for an STD test. There is no need to fast prior to testing.

Blood test for STDs require absolutely no preparation. These include tests for HIV, syphilis, hepatitis, or herpes. Regarding tests for chlamydia or gonorrhea that require a urine sample, it is recommended that you do not urinate for at least one hour prior to testing to ensure ease of sample collection.
