How does the process work?

How long does it take to get my results?

Most results are available within 1-5 business days. HIV RNA and Trichomoniasis tests may take an additional day, and certain states have regulations that require additional processing time.  Some tests must be re-tested to ensure an accurate result.

Can I get treatment if my test results are positive for infection?

Any positive result may prompt a phone call from PWN Health. For positive results of Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trichomoniasis, or HSV 2 a complimentary physician consultation will be provided by one of our third party physicians as well as a prescription if deemed necessary (up to the physicians discretion and not included in complimentary consultation).  If there is any positive result or a positive result for one of the 4 STDs mentioned above, you will receive a call from a Client Services Team Member from PWN Health. The PWN Health team will attempt to contact you three times. Results will not be released until contact is made by PWN Health or the until the three contact attempts have been performed. To prevent any delays in receiving your results, please make sure the phone call is answered or you return PWN Health's phone call promptly. Once you have spoken with a Client Services Team Member, you may decide if you would like to have the consultation with a PWN physician or seek treatment elsewhere . If you choose to have the complimentary consultation, the physician will attempt to contact you three times. After that you must seek treatment on your own.

Do you offer free std testing?

We do not offer free STD Testing.  For information on free testing visit this CDC site

Do you accept health insurance for STD testing?

We do not accept health insurance. We are a 100% out of pocket/ cash paying health service. This is how we can keep things private and out of your medical record.

How can I pay for STD Testing?

We accept all major credit cards (debit cards, prepaid cards, FSA and HSA) and PayPal.

What is your refund policy?

As long as you have not visited the lab for specimen collection, orders can be canceled and the full purchase price refunded back to your original method of payment within 21 days after your purchase.  After 21 days, the order can be canceled and refunded back to your original method of payment less a $10 processing fee.  Once an order is canceled, no results will be released unless payment is made in full again.

TEST KIT REFUND POLICY:

Kits can be cancelled anytime prior to sending the specimen to the lab. There is a $25 fee to cover the kit costs and shipping. So full refund minus $25.

Keep in mind, you can use the requisition form within 6 months after your order.  To cancel or make any changes to your order, call 877-511-5227 or email info@healthtestingcenters.com.

If you have already provided samples for testing, we cannot cancel your order or refund your payment. Testing will be completed and results will be available in your Health Testing Centers account.
